Merry Beach
The waterfront backdrop of our Merry Beach House gives you easy access to the ocean for a range of fun activities. Go fishing, kayaking, surfing, swimming, or walking along the sheltered bay at sunset. Chances are you’ll be sharing the beach with local kangaroos too!
Pretty Beach
Just like the name suggests ‘Pretty Beach’ is a gorgeous local spot for relaxing and taking in the ocean scenery. The skirting grasslands host kangaroos and you can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, or cook up a storm on the surrounding BBQ’s picnic area.
Kangaroo Spotting
You’ll likely see local kangaroos on the lawn of our Merry Beach House and at the surrounding beaches, especially Pretty Beach and Pebbly Beach. If you want a full day of wildlife appreciation head to Eurobodalla Regional Botanical Garden, which has a number of nature walks, gardens and a cafe surrounded by the beautiful gardens.
Murramarang South Coast Walk
The Murramarang South Coast Walk is a new 34km, 3-day coastal walking adventure in Murramarang National Park. Starting at Pretty Beach, Kioloa, the walk weaves along stunning coastline past Depot Beach and Durras Beach before finishing at Maloneys Beach near Batemans Bay. Visit coastal villages and explore beautiful tall forests, secluded beaches, dramatic rock platforms and crystal blue water. Choose your own adventure and try smaller sections of the Murramarang South Coast Walk on a half day or full day walk.
Bawley Bike Hire
Enjoy the freedom of riding a bike around the many different tracks to Pebbly Beach or into Bawley Point. Fishing gear and beach equipment available as well. Private tours can be booked.
Kioloa Beach
Across O’Hara Headland is Kioloa Beach, which offers great views of Belowla Island and whale watching in the migration season (May – November). Walk along the pristine coastline past Butlers Creek and to the neighbouring Shelly Beach and Shelly Point.
Snapper Point Lookout
Snapper Point Lookout offers wonderful panoramic views of the coastline along a well maintained trail. From this vantage point you can see the surrounding headlands and beaches, making it a perfect place to take in the local scenery and nature.
Murramarang National Park

Wilinga Park
Willinga Park is one of Australia’s leading equestrian centres, and an events destination renowned for exceptional quality and beauty. Pigeon House
Pigeon House Mountain Didthul walking track is one of the best walks in Morton National Park and on the south coast. The walk is pretty steep in parts, but terrific views out to the ocean make it worthwhile.
